Neil Pearson Bio.
Neil pearson started riding in 1987 with the CTC, taking on their epic night rides, before beginning his racing career with the Gemini BC in 1988.
Throughout his schoolboy and junior years Neil collected wins and results for the Gemini BC and the Wembley Testers, including a 1st place in the prestigious Lincoln GP in 1992 (a national series event and probably the most prolific junior road race in the country at the time).
During 1992 he also rode for the South East Centre of Excellence in the UK and in Belgium, impressing enough to forge his way to the continent the following year.
In 1993 Neil successfully lived and raced full time in Belgium, riding kermesses and road races throughout the country.
During the season he held his own racing in the gutters 2 to 3 times a week, and showed his class getting results against an up and coming generation of stars. This was never more apparent than a gutsy ride in the 93’ amateur Paris-Roubaix. (Start sheet in the images below)
Since he began racing at 13, Neil has achieved consistent top 5 results year in year out. He has progressed through the ranks from top class junior, to become a first category senior rider, accomplished in both road and track racing.
Neil is currently a 1st cat licence holder.
